📶 Wi-Fi

Passengers can enjoy free Wi-Fi throughout the terminal. To connect, select the “CLT Free WiFi” network.

While some users find it useful for basic tasks, recent reviews are mixed. Many report that the Wi-Fi is “unusable” or “nonfunctional” most of the time, with frequent disconnections even in common areas such as the Atrium or near main gates.

🔌 Charging Stations

Charging stations are available in all concourses and in several areas near boarding gates. For seating with built-in power outlets and USB ports, visit gates A1–A39, B1–B16, and C2–C19. Additional power outlets are also distributed throughout the Atrium and all concourses.

Several passengers have noted that many outlets do not work or are already occupied, and that the few available ones are often used by employees charging personal devices, which causes frustration during peak hours.

Currency Exchange

CXI – Currency Exchange International provides currency exchange services, with offices located past the security checkpoint in both the terminal Atrium and Concourse D.

According to recent travelers, currency exchange services are helpful but somewhat slow and not always available early in the morning or late at night. Many recommend using ATMs to obtain better rates and avoid long lines.

🐾 Pet Relief Areas

Pet relief areas are conveniently located inside the terminal, past the security checkpoint, in the following locations:

• Concourse A connector (between gates A1–A13 and A21–A29)
• Restroom corridor near the corner of Concourses D and E, across from Security Checkpoint 3
• Concourse E near gate E36

There is also a pet relief area in the baggage claim area (before security), behind baggage carousel 3, between the restrooms and the oversized baggage claim counter.

Passengers traveling with pets generally appreciate these areas, although some note that they should be cleaned more frequently, especially during high-traffic periods.

👶 Traveling with Children

CLT has five nursing rooms, offering quiet spaces for breastfeeding mothers seeking privacy.

One room is located on the upper level of the Atrium, across from the airport chapel (directly above Cinnabon). Access is available via the stairs in the Atrium or the elevators near the restrooms in Concourses A and D.

Another room is located in the Concourse A connector between gates A1–A13 and A21–A29, and a third is near the restroom corridor at the corner of Concourses D and E, across from Security Checkpoint 3. The newest rooms are located between gates E32 and E36 in Concourse E, and next to gate A32 in Concourse A.

Each nursing room features private lactation stations with padded seating and power outlets. There are also diaper-changing stations, sinks, and additional power outlets.

These facilities have been praised for their cleanliness and comfort, although some mothers note that signage to locate them is unclear, which can cause confusion for first-time visitors.

In addition, all men’s, women’s, and family restrooms throughout the terminal are equipped with diaper-changing stations.
